Rotary Club of Southern Frederick hosts first annual golf tournament to raise funds for What Would Stew Dew Fund
A fun-filled day of golf, networking, and fundraising, all for a great cause
URBANA, Md., March 20, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Rotary Club of Southern Frederick is excited to announce their partnership with the What Would Stew Dew Fund, a non-profit organization that aims to support first responders and their families, as well as advocate for children in need.
The Rotary Club of Southern Frederick will be hosting their first annual golf tournament on Monday, May 8th at Whisky Creek Golf Club (Ijamsville, MD) to raise funds for the What Would Stew Dew Fund. This event promises to be a fun-filled day of golf, networking, and fundraising, all for a great cause.
During a recent meeting, Jennifer Alcorn, the founder of the What Would Stew Dew Fund, and Andrew "Stew" Alcorn IV's brother, Jon Alcorn, were welcomed by the Rotary Club of Southern Frederick. Jennifer shared the mission of the Fund and how her late husband's generous heart guides their efforts.
