Roto-Rooter's Recent Survey Reveals that Homes in Los Angeles and the West Are More Likely to Suffer from Plumbing Repairs Valued at $20,000 or More
Roto-Rooter, North America's Leading Experts on Plumbing and Drain Repair Services, Recommends Timely Repairs in Los Angeles Homes to Avoid Flushing Money Down the Toilet
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 18, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Roto-Rooter, North America's leading expert and largest provider of plumbing and drain repair services, is pleased to share results from their recent Thought Leader Survey for Los Angeles. Unfortunately for homeowners in the region, this survey revealed that homes in Los Angeles and the West are more likely than other areas of the country to suffer from major plumbing and drainage repairs valued at $20,000 or more.
"We discovered that the majority of plumbing repairs in the U.S. fall within the $0-$5,000 range, though the West appears to disproportionately suffer from very expensive ($20,000+) plumbing problems," says Paul Abrams, Public Relations Director. "We generally suggest addressing plumbing issues early on to avoid costly repairs and inflated water bills later."
The survey also revealed that homes in Western states are less likely than other regions to suffer from issues with water pressure. Just over 5% of Westerners responded that their water pressure was too low or too high, vs. an average of 10.7% elsewhere in the U.S. Also of interest, homeowners in the West are also the most likely to avoid DIY plumbing projects and just hire a plumber from the start.
Survey insights and repair recommendations specific to Los Angeles include:
- Homeowners in LA and the western U.S. are more likely than those in any other part of the country to suffer from major plumbing problems costing $20,000 or more to repair. Get plumbing problems fixed early before they get worse.
- 1 in 10 LA residents have faucets that drip. Many homeowners are surprised to learn that one leaky faucet might be costing them more than 3,000 gallons of wasted water per year.
- Nearly one third of homeowners have slow-running drains. Because clogs can get much worse over time, plumbing and drain experts recommend that you resolve these early.
