The awards are given out annually by Insight Publications, publishers of business and manufacturing magazines in Wisconsin. The winners are announced at the annual Thinc Technology and Innovation Conference, which will take place May 9th at UW-Fox Valley in Menasha.
According to the publisher, the awards are given to honor businesses and organizations in the New North (NE Wisconsin area) that come up with an idea that's a game changer and then develop a way to implement it.
