ROXs incorporates elements of imagination and movement with video gaming play patterns to get children running, jumping and playing outside. ROXs is an interactive gaming system that is based on wirelessly connected pods that come with different sensors, light and sound effects. The hand-sized pods are controlled by an app which features different games. Players must run between the pods in order to deactivate the sensors by tapping, shaking, moving or shooting (with a ball, a Nerf gun etc.) at the pods. Players can set up their own obstacle course, create their own rules and collect scores. ROXs is creating movement by stimulating the players intrinsic motivation to play.
ROXs also comes complete with a mobile app that is designed to provide parents with full transparency into the gameplay of their children. Within the mobile app, parents can manage all of their Pod and Scanner devices, set different user profiles for their children, and choose which games to play.
