RSSM Announces Appointment of Two Principals
New York, NY (PRWEB) February 16, 2015 -- RSSM CPA LLP (“RSSM”), Certified Public Accountants and Strategic Advisors, today announced that Michael J. Moss, CPA, JD has joined the firm as a Principal and that Darya Shneyder has been promoted to Principal.
Mr. Moss joins the firm as a Principal in the Tax Department, leading the Fiduciary Services Group. His expertise encompasses the areas of trusts, estates, gifting, probate, and individuals. His other areas of specialization include not-for-profit, federal and state tax controversies, family offices, same sex couples, and divorce. Included among his clients are professional athletes, entertainers, corporate senior management executives (active and retired), attorneys, medical professionals, entrepreneurs, and finance professionals.
Mr. Moss received his BBA from Emory University, with distinction and his JD from University of Miami School of Law. He was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Book Award for Trusts and Estates. He is admitted to the New York, Florida and Connecticut Bars, and is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Mrs. Shneyder has over eight years of public accounting experience and joined the firm in September 2006. She specializes in providing accounting, auditing, advisory and taxation services to the real estate, manufacturing and distributing industries. Additionally, she has experience in auditing employee benefit plans and model agencies, as well as taxation experience for non-for-profit clients.
Mrs. Shneyder is a member of the Company’s Auditing Reengineering Committee, working closely with the Company’s Professional Standards and Practices Group. She is also a member of the Company’s Real Estate Services Group.
Mrs. Shneyder is a CPA licensed in New York and a graduate of Baruch College, New York, receiving a Bachelor of Business Arts. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
