Certification validates Rulai’s comprehensive security practices for protecting customer data

Rulai, Inc., a leading Conversational AI platform, today announced it has successfully completed two key audit examinations for its platform. It is now both System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 type II and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Level 1 compliant. These certifications mean that all chatbot conversations powered by Rulai’s Conversational AI platform, are secure and underlines Rulai’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data integrity and security for customers.

As one of the few Conversational AI platform providers to achieve both certifications, it provides Rulai’s clients with the assurance that Rulai has deployed the controls and safeguards necessary to protect and secure their data in accordance with industry standards and best practices.

Rulai’s Conversational AI platform is used by Fortune 500 companies in banking, insurance, and retail to build virtual assistants or chatbots that can speed up service and sales requests and resolution. Its Level 3 AI capabilities enable chatbots to handle non-linear conversations without the need for coding. And its AI accelerators help companies deploy powerful assistants in a fraction of the time it normally takes.

The SOC2 audit was performed by Control Logics, a licensed CPA firm specialized in compliance, assurance, and internal audit services, while the PCI DSS audit was performed by Marcum LLP, one of the largest independent public accounting and advisory services firms.

“As virtual assistants become more powerful and are able to automate increasingly complex service interactions, the need to ensure all conversations remain secure and data privacy is maintained, becomes even more crucial, “ says Marc Vanlerberghe, CEO of Rulai. “The successful completion of our SOC 2 Type II and PCI DSS Level audits demonstrates our commitment to our enterprise customers to meet their security standards.”

“At Mercari we aim to be a marketplace where individuals can buy and sell items easily, safely, and securely,” says John Lagerling, CEO Mercari US. “As such, we encourage all partners to adhere to the highest level of security, which includes SOC2 Type II and PCI DSS Level 1 certification. Congratulations to the Rulai team for achieving this important milestone.”

Rulai’s PCI DSS and SOC2 Type II Attestations of Compliance are available upon request.
