Russia’s New Gamepad Will Change Gaming Forever
Ulan-Ude, RUSSIA (PRWEB) September 12, 2016 -- Independent Russian peripheral developers Alex Nesmeev and Eugene Nesmeev are excited to share with gamers the R-Handle, a prototype gamepad for a whole new way to control video games.
Finding current standard game controllers inconvenient and uncomfortable, the pair have designed a brand new style of gamepad offering more comfort, accuracy and control than ever before without the use of a keyboard and mouse.
Currently, analogue thumb sticks found on Xbox One, PS4 or even Steam controllers don't allow for enough accuracy during gameplay, which causes developers to create simpler – and less exciting – console games. And considering the uprising of Virtual Reality technology, the standard gamepad is even more impractical.
Alex and Eugene are combating this problem by creating the R-Handle: a hybrid of a mouse and keyboard to allow any gamer to comfortably play any game or piece of software. The R-Handle could open up new prospects for the gaming industry.
Unlike a typical PC setup, R-Handle will not require a desk. An all-in-one gamepad, the prototype combines the classic technology of keyboard and mouse in one input device that will sit comfortably in one's hands whilst playing. The main draw of R-Handle is that input is controlled by the player’s whole hand, not just one or two fingers as more standard gamepads allow for.
Alex and Eugene have a working prototype but are working hard to develop and modify the device. A crowdfunding campaign will soon be launched in order to fund further development of the R-Handle.

In the last 10 years, the standard game controller design has undergone many changes, but there have been no significant improvements to truly change the face of console gaming. No gamepad has ever managed to emulate the accuracy of a computer mouse. Alex and Eugene believe that the R-Handle already exceeds all known gamepads and will be the first controller to drastically change the face of console gaming.
So serious about changing the industry, Alex and Eugene also have plans to create their own console after the R-Handle, a console that can be a comfortable home to all genres of gaming.
It's high time that the gamepad market was shaken up, and the R-Handle could be the one to do it.
