Ruth Brandon felt led by God to tell about her 10 years of life and experiences in Asia. This prompted her to release the autobiography, “God’s Power in the Mountains” (published by Xlibris), a book that charts how God used her to reach many people from all walks of life, to share the hope of rising above the past in order to make a difference in the future. In this personal recollection, Brandon narrates the early days of her life as a woman hurt and damaged, and how this served to complete God’s plan. She takes the readers to her mission in the rural and urban parts of Asia. She also describes the challenges of being a woman amid a culture that dictates that being one is inferior. Candid and poignant, the author shares a story of triumph propelled by faith, courage and hope.

“I want those who read my book to be touched deeply with the hope that God can take you from any difficult beginnings and rescue you from the depths of despair to turn your life into a beacon of light for others,” Brandon states.

The author perceives that even today many people are feeling useless and worthless. She hopes that reading a true story where God makes a difference in one’s life will encourage others to dare to dream.
