Environmental/Energy Conservation and Safety Among Critical Industry Issues to be Addressed
WARRENDALE, Pa., Oct. 19, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- SAE International's annual Government/Industry Meeting (GIM) will take place in Washington, D.C, Jan. 17-19, 2023. Co-located with the Washington, D.C., Auto Show, this highly regarded annual conference connects government policy and regulatory makers with automotive professionals to discuss critical issues impacting the mobility industry.
Key topics include industry safety areas related to electric vehicle (EV) batteries, occupant protection and vulnerable road users, as well as vehicle data - including NHTSA's event data recording requirements. Additional topics to be discussed include environmental and energy conservation efforts such as decarbonization, EV charging interoperability and battery life cycle and recycling.
