SAE International Announces Schedule for 2014 Collegiate Design Series
Warrendale, Pa. (PRWEB) October 29, 2013 -- SAE International has announced the 2014 schedule for its popular Collegiate Design Series, which will include 11 separate events.
The series pits the best and brightest college students from around the world in engineering competitions involving aerospace, off-road, open-wheel cars, snowmobiles and supermileage vehicles. The 2014 series begins March 3 with the Clean Snowmobile Challenge™ in Houghton, Mich., and concludes June 18 with the Formula SAE’s electric car competition in Lincoln, Neb.
The complete 2014 Collegiate Design Series includes:
- Clean Snowmobile Challenge™: March 3-8 in Houghton, Mich.
- Aero Design® Series West: March 28-30 in Fort Worth, Texas
- Aero Design® Series East: April 11-13 in Marietta, Ga.
- Baja SAE® - UTEP: April 24-27 in El Paso, Texas
- Formula SAE® Series - Hybrid: April 28-May 1 in Loudon, N.H.
- Formula SAE® Series - Michigan: May 14-17 in Brooklyn, Mich.
- Baja SAE® - Kansas: May 22-15 in Pittsburg, Kan.
- Baja SAE® - Illinois: June 4-7 in Peoria, Ill.
- Supermileage® Competition: June 5-6 in Marshall, Mich.
- Formula SAE® Series - Lincoln: June 18-21 in Lincoln, Neb.
- Formula SAE® Series - Electric: June 18-21 in Lincoln, Neb.
