SAE International will hold the WCX™ Digital Summit as a virtual event on June 16-18. For three days, the online summit will provide an important space for the mobility industry to convene and collaborate on the evolving changes and challenges facing mobility today.

“Although the in-person WCX event was canceled this year, we believe that it’s critical now more than ever for the mobility community to virtually gather to discuss transformative changes and innovative solutions impacting the industry,” said Dave Weil, director of engineering events at SAE International. “We are thrilled to host the first ever WCX Digital Summit to give the global mobility community an opportunity to engage and inspire innovative solutions that will support safe mobility both today and, in a post COVID-19 world.”

The WCX Digital Summit technical program features more than 20 hours of keynote speakers, live panel discussions and presentations. In addition, virtual attendees will receive access to over 250 on-demand technical presentations that can be accessed for up to one year after the event. This year’s discussions will provide the latest technical information on ADAS, connectivity, emission, environment, occupant protection, design, manufacturing, powertrain and propulsion, and the latest information on consumer metrics and regulatory standards.

The WCX Digital Summit keynote and featured speakers include:

  • Roger Cracknell, technology expert, combustion chemistry, Shell
  • Dr. Tom Fletcher, research associate in system optimization for model-based powertrain calibration, Loughborough University
  • Karima Hamza, principal engineer, Toyota
  • Amy Ishiguro, NPI engineer, AEye, Inc.
  • Ameya Joshi, director, Emerging Technologies and Regulations, Corning

Attendees will also be able to connect with today’s leading suppliers and companies that are shifting the industry when walking through the virtual expo hall.
