Raleigh, North Carolina (PRWEB) October 09, 2015 -- Safe Space, a non-profit organization committed to reducing relationship violence in Franklin County, North Carolina and nearby communities, launched a new website to mark Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
This new website (NCSafeSpace.org) allows victims of domestic violence to find help immediately, whether through an emergency hotline, support group, or shelter. The revamped site also helps community members discover how they can support the organization through volunteering or donations.
“Domestic violence is a significant problem in Franklin County, affecting 10% of the population,” said Monica Kearney, Executive Director at Safe Space. “This new website reflects the critical work that we are doing in the community so victims of domestic violence know where to turn in times of need.”
The website was developed pro bono by InnoVector Tech, Inc., a management consulting and strategic communications firm based in Raleigh. “It is part of our company’s mission to help organizations make a greater impact and serve the community,” said Nannette Stangle-Castor, President of Innovector Tech. “We are proud to be involved with such a great organization and help Safe Space serve even more individuals and families in need.”
