Succeed Management Solutions, LLC Offers New Online Training on Safety Committee Formation
(PRWEB) November 30, 2015 -- According to OSHA QuickTakes, In mid-November, an Oregon-based Athletic Club was issued over $95,000 in citations after OSHA inspectors saw workers without fall protection working 20 feet above the ground. On further inspection, the club had failed to maintain their OSHA 300 log and did not establish a Safety Committee (from the November 16 issue of OSHA QuickTakes).
Safety Committees are an important part of an organization’s safety strategy; they are a way to discuss employee concerns, promote employee involvement, and help to improve overall communication between employees and management. In every industry and environment, employers are responsible for health and safety. OSHA emphasizes the importance of Safety Committees as a way for a company to communicate and implement safe practices.
Succeed Management Solutions, LLC has released a new Safety Committee Formation training. This training course is one of the newest titles in the Succeed Online Training Library. This training educates organizations on the purpose of a safety committee, typical responsibilities, how to form a committee, and how to conduct committee meetings.
As with all Succeed courses, this training can be assigned to employees via Training Track™, an application that is designed to automate all aspects of an employee training program. Training Track is one of the available applications in Succeed’s web-based Risk Management Center®. The Risk Management Center also contains other OSHA-required programs, training materials, and integrated software solutions.
Succeed Management Solutions, LLC also writes a blog that contains safety tips, toolbox talks, training shorts, and more.
