Sagitec Announces Jamie Suber as a Director of Labor and Employment Solutions, Bolstering its Leadership and Innovation in the Industry

Jamie was employed with the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (SCDEW) for over 15 years. During his time, he served in multiple executive roles, including Chief of Staff, Interim Chief Administration Officer, and Assistant Executive Director of the Unemployment Insurance Division.

Jamie's tenure at SCDEW spanned vulnerable and uncertain times, including the 2008 recession and the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the challenges, he successfully implemented nationally recognized innovations to move the agency forward. These advancements included the full technology replacement of two customer-facing legacy software systems. Jamie also helped establish a state-focused UI Integrity Symposium that allowed for programmatic integrity efforts, training of staff, and increased awareness of the UI community's best practices.
In addition to these professional achievements, Jamie has served as the Region 4 Seat on the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) Board of Directors and as Chair and Vice-Chair of its UI Committee from December 2020 – March 2022.
