Salon Success Academies Graduate Opens Salon Studio in Upland
Upland, CA (PRWEB) September 03, 2013 -- Salon Success Academies is proud to announce that SSA graduate Candice Freis will become a master entrepreneur as co-owner of one of the hot new salon studios. Opening this fall in Upland, Couture Salon Studios will be a 6,500 square foot beauty emporium offering Hair Stylists, Estheticians, Nail Technicians and Massage Therapists the opportunity to be their own bosses without a huge personal investment of their own.
For the cost of a little more than the chair rental fees other salons charge stylists and estheticians, Couture Salon members will have access to a state-of-the-art facility and a receptionist/salon coordinator to greet their individual clients. The studio, located at 141 West Foothill Boulevard in Upland, is being fully renovated and will include a full reception area with luxurious hardwood floors and chandelier lighting, in addition to 30 studios for rent. While studios can be personalized to the individual contractor, each will include chairs, mirrors, cabinetry, furniture and shampoo bowls.
“It’s a no-brainer for those with an entrepreneurial spirit,” says Freis. “You get to avoid the drama of working in a traditional salon and focus on your clients and your passion. It really allows you to do your best work.”
In partnership with her husband and father-in-law, Freis says that she intends to provide clients with a “one-stop shop for their hair, nails and cosmetic experience.”
After graduating from Salon Success Academies, Freis worked in a traditional salon setting in a private facility. Then, she stepped into the role of private contractor, renting studio space and becoming self-employed. It was there that she noticed areas which could make the salon experience better for both stylist and consumer.
Freis says that Couture Salon Studios is designed to give the client the best service possible, while also ensuring “consistency of business and marketing support” for its contractors.
In addition to how Freis intends to enhance the client experience, she notes that Couture Salon Studios will offer continuing education to its members. Covering topics such as hair cut and color trends, skin care and nail applications, social media marketing and business developments, Freis intends to encourage Couture Salon members to continually strive to be better at their craft and to promote their own brand identity.
Salon Success Academies owner Bob Gross says he’s particularly proud of Freis’s entrepreneurial bent.
