Newest location now open represents the first in Salsa Fresca’s franchise expansion strategy

Our loyal customer base continued to take advantage of no-contact delivery and curbside pickup, and we are very grateful that our communities have continued to stand by us throughout what has been a very difficult year for the entire industry.

Salsa Fresca Mexican Grill, whose always-fresh, never-frozen concept has driven its popularity and growth throughout Connecticut and New York, announced that West Hartford, Connecticut will be the site of its 11th location. Scheduled to open December 1st, 2020, the new location represents an important milestone as Salsa Fresca, and the entire restaurant industry, recovers and re-opens.

“Throughout this year’s pandemic emergency, we have continued to offer our customers a heightened level of safety and cleanliness, and continued providing our customers with the always-fresh food they have come to know and love,” said Marc Miles, co-owner of Salsa Fresca Mexican Grill. “We are proud to ensure the safety of our staff and customers, and as the good news of a potential vaccine makes headlines, we are very pleased to continue our expansion plan to bring Salsa Fresca to new communities.”

Fresh food, and an ongoing commitment to cleanliness and a healthy and hygienic environment for staff and customers has always been part of Salsa Fresca’s strategy, a plan which has worked well for the regional chain. “We were prepared for the unexpected,” said Miles. “Before the pandemic, we had already built a foundation for online ordering and apps, and have always been especially proud of our popular ‘open kitchen’ concept which allows customers to see first-hand the fresh ingredients being used.” Other strategies, which have always made Salsa Fresca stand out among other regional chains, include a strong commitment to eco-friendly practices in every restaurant, including recycling cooking oil into bio-diesel, using humanely-raised beef and all-natural chicken, and working towards a goal of being a fully zero-waste restaurant.

In addition, Salsa Fresca has long established partnerships with third-party delivery networks, including Uber Eats, Grub Hub and Door Dash. “Our loyal customer base continued to take advantage of no-contact delivery and curbside pickup, and we are very grateful that our communities have continued to stand by us throughout what has been a very difficult year for the entire industry,” said Miles.

Salsa Fresca’s expansion plan – which was temporarily delayed due to the pandemic – now resumes with the West Hartford location, soon to be followed by additional new locations in Fairfield and Westport. The chain’s newest location will, as with all of their locations, continue to adhere to its eco-friendly policies, open kitchen concept and always-fresh, never-frozen menu items, while continuing to double down on cleanliness and safety measures which go beyond all local, state and federal guidelines.

“We are especially pleased to announce that the new West Hartford location is the first site opened by a franchisee,” said Miles. The store, in fact, is the first franchise unit to open and marks the beginning of a new era for Salsa Fresca and an opportunity for other experienced operators to get on board with this exciting, dynamic and growing brand.

Salsa Fresca’s West Hartford location will be opening on December 1st, 2020 at 345 North Main Street in West Hartford, CT (in the Bishops Corner Shopping Mall with Home Goods and Target as end cap neighbors. The store is complete with comfortable outdoor seating, as well as appropriately-spaced indoor tables. To learn more about Salsa Fresca Mexican Grill, visit http://www.salsafrescagrill.com
