With recent concerns about climate change and environmental degradation, consumers want more eco-friendly products. But, they have cited a lack of convenience, awareness, and trust as key barriers.

Salvos — meaning “survival” in Latin — stepped up as a leader for reliable information about the most sustainable products. Cecilia Wong also joined Salvos as a co-founder in 2020. Ms. Wong is a News Producer in New York. While reporting on the symptoms of climate change — such as severe wildfires, hurricanes and drought, Wong wanted to do more to combat the problem. Salvos is the answer to starting a lifestyle change. “As a content creator, I wanted to get the message out about sustainable living, We want to be the primary destination for long-time eco-friendly shoppers, as well as newbies just starting out.”

Staying true to its intentions, Salvos is launching its #MakingOneChange campaign on Earth Day, April 22. It takes just one small product swap to start on a new journey of sustainable living. Salvos has over 100 eco-friendly, certified products to choose from — making the challenge so much easier to achieve. And for each order, people will also contribute to a Mangrove tree being planted.
