Their services range from roofing to siding, insulation, gutters and sheet metal, but a large portion of their services come from their commercial roofing department. Friday, January 31, President and Founder of the company, Sam Boak, hosted representatives from Carlisle SynTec, a leading commercial roofing material supplier in the United States, to conduct hands-on training with the Boak & Sons flat roofing employees.

The morning started off with a presentation on new technology and installation methods that will help improve installation for contractors like Boak & Sons. Later on, the employees got the chance to use the training in a simulated environment right in their own warehouse with sample materials and setups. Representatives from Carlisle demonstrated using the materials and helped the Boak employees practice, giving helpful tips to get the best use out of the materials.

“The roofing industry is continuously changing,” said Boak. “This training allows us to grow our skill sets to continue providing the best quality service at all of our job sites.
