San Diego Gulls Name InnoVision Marketing Group Agency of Record
San Diego, Ca (PRWEB) September 09, 2015 -- The San Diego Gulls, American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks, have named San Diego-based InnoVision Marketing Group as their official agency of record. The Gulls will begin their inaugural AHL season on Saturday, October 10th in their new home, the Valley View Casino Center, in San Diego.
The Gulls are one of five California-based teams in the AHL’s newly created Pacific Division, which includes the affiliates of the NHL’s Calgary Flames (Stockton Heat), Edmonton Oilers (Bakersfield Condors), Los Angeles Kings (Ontario Reign), and San Jose Sharks (San Jose Barracuda). InnoVision Marketing Group will promote the Gulls in San Diego as well as the greater Southern California and Southwest regions.

Since the formation of the Pacific Division was announced in January, the Gulls and Valley View Casino Center have worked together on a range of projects to enhance the in-venue game-day experience, ranging from the purchase and installation of new state-of-the-art LED video boards to completing full renovations of team facilities, such as locker and training rooms.
The Gulls have embraced the hockey tradition in San Diego, bringing back the iconic Gulls name and largely preserving the popular Gulls logo. The Gulls have also sought to make a mark in the community and, through the San Diego Gulls Foundation, have already sponsored two Learn to Play Hockey clinics and hosted their 1st annual summer block party fundraiser on September 5.
