San Joaquin Memorial High School Increases Enrollment with InfoSnap Solutions
Austin, Texas (PRWEB) June 12, 2014 -- The college-preparatory curriculum that San Joaquin Memorial High School in Fresno, CA, offers is known to be rigorous. However, the application process for accepting students into this prestigious school was even more demanding.
Every year, the administrative staff at San Joaquin Memorial High School encountered a daunting task. A paper-based system that began with inquires, followed by an application process, and finally accepting prospective students to its school, revealed an inconsistent and unreliable tracking method. Enrollment numbers started to decrease which caused staff to question the tools they had in place.
Vanessa Gonzalez, Admissions and Marketing Director at Memorial, wondered why enrollment numbers were down. “Prior to InfoSnap, there wasn't a way to effectively track the prospective students who had applied and didn't register,” says Gonzalez. “We needed a tool to see where they may have fallen through the cracks.”
In addition to implementing an efficient tracking system, Memorial wanted to increase their communication efforts with prospective families. InfoSnap was selected to streamline the inquiry and application processes and facilitate targeted communications with interested applicants. These solutions enable Memorial to customize their outreach methods with potential students while notating all points of contact and information shared during interactions.
“We improvise in using all of InfoSnap tools,” says Gonzalez. “We modify tags to note who attends events, send out mailers and email blasts, and use tags to track what stage prospects are at in the admissions process.” The ability to use these InfoSnap features, such as tags, tasks, sorts, and filters, has eliminated the possibility of a prospective student being overlooked.
The InfoSnap application submission workspace has provided Gonzalez with tremendous assistance in generating enrollment updates and reports to Memorial’s Board of Directors, administrators, faculty, and staff on a consistent basis. “The members of our Board want numbers—measurable information they can assess to sum up the progress of enrollment,” says Gonzalez. “Every month, I export information from InfoSnap that provides the total number of applications we have. I’m then able to break that number down even more by determining how many applicants are from our partner schools, transfers from public schools, and provide additional data gleaned from the online application form. It is tangible data that allows Memorial’s team to see the progress we’re making.”
Gonzalez uses the application data to develop graphs and statistics that reflect why applicants choose to attend San Joaquin Memorial High School.
“We now have a thorough understanding of who our applicants are and why they are coming to our school,” adds Gonzalez. “I attribute that to the flexibility of tools and support provided by InfoSnap. It is rare to dial a number and get someone on the phone, but our solution specialist always answers my call immediately or returns my call the same day. That is amazing customer service! He plays an integral role in the successful implementation of our solutions.”
InfoSnap proves to be an effective marketing tool in determining what classes applicants look forward to, clubs they want to join, and sports they wish to play. “InfoSnap allows us to maximize our communication and outreach efforts which not only enhances our customer service ability but contributes to the increase of our enrollment,” says Gonzalez.
