Santa Fe Cares Supports KW Agents in Crisis Via Donations
Santa Fe, NM (PRWEB) December 15, 2016 -- Realtor Jama Fontaine, of Keller Williams Realty Santa Fe, is proud to announce that Keller Williams agents, via KW Cares/Santa Fe Cares, have pledged to donate to their colleagues in crisis. KW Cares is a charitable fund created to support Keller Williams associates and their families experiencing severe hardship as a result of a sudden emergency.
Santa Fe Cares, the local branch of KW Cares, is already helping one Farmington, NM, Keller Williams associate whose daughter has a serious illness and will have to be in Albuquerque for at least a week. “Our Santa Fe Cares fund will be paying for her family to be in Albuquerque during this entire time,” said Fontaine.
Additionally, Keller Williams Realty Santa Fe recently hosted a Thanksgiving gala/local fashion show to raise funds for Santa Fe Cares. The event raised more than $5,000, which will only be used for KW agents in need.
“If something tragic were to happen they would come to us first and we would handle immediate needs, and if the problem is major and requires large sums of money then they would apply to KW Cares (International Funds), which has a fund that has, at times, exceeded $15 million,” concluded Fontaine. “I am proud to work for a company that makes a difference and cares for its employees and their families.”
