Sappington, a Seattle-based enterprise technology marketing firm, is celebrating the third year of the Pacific Northwest Digital Business Roundtable. The first Roundtable event was held in 2016 at the Rainier Club in Seattle.
Sappington founded the Digital Business Roundtable to create a community of regional business and technology leaders who could come together to discuss and learn how to make technology strategic to business operations and customer experiences in tangible ways. The members of the Digital Business Roundtable are leaders from significant Pacific Northwest organizations from a variety of industries, from retail and professional services to healthcare and education.
“We wanted to create an open environment that would allow for honest discussion around the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation,” notes Tim Goggin, CEO of Sappington. “Since our start, we’ve held facilitated discussions on topics ranging from ‘why digital’ to leadership courage to blockchain.”
Goggin believed then—and still does today—that Pacific Northwest organizations are best positioned to lead the digital business revolution because of the region’s unique history and business culture. The Roundtable meets quarterly.
