Savannah Quarters® Gives to Local Food Bank & Hosts West Chatham Angel Tree

SAVANNAH, Ga., Nov. 27, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Savannah Quarters®, a master-planned community located 12 miles from downtown Savannah, has donated the proceeds from its booth sales at Taste of Savannah to America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia, a local food bank.

The signature event of the Savannah Food & Wine Festival, Taste of Savannah occurred on November 9th from 12-4 PM. Savannah Quarters® had two booths at the local event, one representing The Club at Savannah Quarters®, which offered food samplings from The Club's exclusive menu, and an informational booth from Savannah Quarters® Realty. All proceeds they received went to the nonprofit whose mission is to help the 155,000+ people in Coastal Georgia struggling with food insecurity.

In addition to giving to America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia, Savannah Quarters® is proudly hosting an Angel Tree in partnership with the West Chatham YMCA located in Pooler. Donations will be accepted from now until December 9th.

Homeowners of Savannah Quarters®, Realtors and the general public are encouraged to visit the Sales & Information Center to select an ornament off the tree, which will hold the name and wish list of a child in need located in the Savannah Area.
