Savannah Quarters® Holds Honey Daze Event Benefiting The Bee Cause Project
Savannah Quarters®, the master-planned community, country club and award-winning golf destination in Pooler, GA, held Honey Daze at Savannah Quarters®, an event that benefitted The Bee Cause Project on June 22nd.
SAVANNAH, Ga., August 1, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Savannah Quarters®, the master-planned community, country club and award-winning golf destination in Pooler, GA, held Honey Daze at Savannah Quarters®, an event that benefitted The Bee Cause Project on June 22nd.
The gathering was held at a model home built by expert home builder Village Park Homes in the Westbrook Grove neighborhood of Savannah Quarters®. Taylor's Landscaping, an award-winning local nursery and landscaping company was present at the event and gave complementary 4-gallon, pollinator-friendly plants to the first fifty guests of the event. Taylor's team was also available to inform Honey Daze guests about proper plant care and answer any questions.
Savannah Bee Company was also present as well as representatives of their partner charitable organization, The Bee Cause Project, who spoke with guests about their mission to educate and inform the public about the honeybees' vital role to our ecosystem and the threats they face.
The Bee Cause Project accepted donations and distributed information which allowed people to learn more about what they do and how they make an impact on STEAM-based education. They have now successfully reached 500 Bee Grants, furthering their mission to educate and inform youths and adults about honeybees. Savannah Quarters® presented a check for the amount of $2,500 to the Bee Cause Project, who has stated that they will use this donation to benefit the nonprofit's efforts happening locally in the Savannah community.

Honey Daze attendees had a great time and enjoyed a variety of family-friendly fun including bee-themed photo-ops and refreshments, temporary tattoos, a photo booth and Adopt-A-Bee certificates, which further spread the word about honeybees. Additionally, guests were able to tour new homes located in the Westbrook section of Savannah Quarters® including The Reserve and the popular Design Home Showcase, which features several custom-home models that exemplify the latest and most popular home trends.
