I’m excited to bring this important treatment to our customers in the United States.
BEDFORD HILLS, N.Y. (PRWEB) August 15, 2019
SavATree has announced ArborBuxus, a brand-new foliar fertilizer treatment for its clients. It is specially formulated to enhance the health and vigor of boxwoods. SavATree is the first multi-state tree and shrub care company to offer this specific treatment in the United States.
Boxwoods are one of the most loved evergreen shrubs. Unfortunately, due to a fungal disease called boxwood blight that reached the United States in 2011, they have become increasingly vulnerable in recent years. Over time, the repeated defoliation and dieback caused by the disease kills the plant.
Boxwood blight has ravaged European boxwoods since the 90s. In the Netherlands, the world’s largest boxwood nursery has been working on a fertilizer designed specifically to help them recover from and resist boxwood blight.
ArborBuxus will be offered in two forms: ArborBuxus Restore, a rescue nutrient application for actively infected boxwoods, and ArborBuxus Maintain, a blend that helps to keep boxwoods in optimum health and increase disease and insect resistance.
“We’ve been paying close attention to the developments in the Netherlands, and we’re extremely impressed by the work they’ve done,” said SavATree CEO Daniel van Starrenburg. “I’m excited to bring this important treatment to our customers in the United States.”
