During Earth Month, Napa RISE is hosting a unique six-event symposium around the six pillars of sustainable winegrowing leadership. The Saverglass team will be present at the following events to further discuss glass packaging and manufacturing sustainability: Energy Efficiency and Savings(April 5th), Waste Prevention & Supply Chain (April 12th), Proactive farming, Soil Health, and Biodiversity (April 13th).

In 2022, Saverglass received validation from the Science-Based Target Initiative (SBTi) on its commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions per ton of glass produced from scopes 1 and 2. SBTi is a non-profit initiative and collaboration between Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), The United Nations Global Compact (UNCG), World Resource Institute (WRI), and World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) mobilizing companies to set science-based climate targets and boost their competitive advantage in transitioning to a low-carbon economy.
Recipient of the Ecovadis Silver Award in 2023, the only Universal Sustainability Ratings Provider, Saverglass, is in the top 25% of the most virtuous companies for sustainability. Saverglass bottles are 100% recyclable; glass is the only packaging material with no deterioration in the physic-chemical performance of the bottles produced from recycled glass.
