Scale celebrates being certified as a Great Place to Work®

We believe that a healthy and happy workforce underpins the success of our business—with the mental, emotional and physical well-being of every employee mattering most, said Ben Flohr, CoFounder of Scale.

Scale Media has been certified as a Great Place to Work® for 2020, with 97% of Scale’s employees confirming that their company is a great place to work. Powering wellness and beauty brands, the fast-growing direct-to-consumer company received over 95% of employee agreement in a range of categories, from communication, camaraderie and leadership behavior, to justice, fairness and safety.

“We built Scale around our core values of growth, collaboration, impact and innovation, and have steadily worked as an entire team to consistently live out those values through our actions,” said Ziv Haklili, CoFounder of Scale. “Receiving the Great Place to Work® designation with such high marks from our employees across the board is such a meaningful affirmation and a huge inspiration. We are delighted that all the conscious effort we put into creating a workplace culture of empowerment is truly providing value.”

The Scale management team decided at the start of the global COVID-19 pandemic to put an even greater emphasis on company culture and employee engagement. They swiftly implemented several new initiatives and programs to benefit their workforce, which, as of early March 2020, transitioned to 100% fully remote-based. These included company-wide motivational Monday meeting standups, weekly activity challenges, company Instagram + employee social takeovers, complimentary employee self-care packages, flexible work schedules for parents/caregivers, optimization of benefits packages, and more.

“We believe that a healthy and happy workforce underpins the success of our business—with the mental, emotional and physical well-being of every employee mattering most,” said Ben Flohr, CoFounder of Scale. “By engaging in open and transparent discussions, and fostering a welcoming and inclusive workplace, we were able to thrive in a remote working environment. And although we are currently separated physically, we are collectively stronger in our commitment and solidarity, and know that great culture leads to great results.”

Since January 2020, Scale has grown their headcount by nearly 50%, earned various awards, and has launched new brands and products. Learn more about Scale and their house of brands at
