Scaling New Heights® Conference for Small Business Advisors Moving to November 2020 with Two Attendance Options
Today, Woodard Events announced that it has rescheduled its annual Scaling New Heights® conference in Orlando, Florida from September 20-23 to November 8-11, 2020.
ATLANTA, July 17, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Today, Woodard Events announced that it has rescheduled its annual Scaling New Heights® conference in Orlando, Florida from September 20-23 to November 8-11, 2020. The change of date addresses concerns related to the current COVID-19 conditions in Florida. Also, to further address these concerns and related travel restrictions, the conference will now offer both on-premise and remote options for attendees and sponsors.
"The November date is our proactive response to the situation in Florida," said Joe Woodard, CEO of Woodard Events. "November is also a much better fit for accountants and bookkeepers. The conference will now take place after a highly unusual and hectic tax season and after most bookkeepers have met CARES Act compliance.
To maximize physical distancing for its estimated 1,500 on-premise attendees, Woodard Events reserved enough meeting space to accommodate 10,000. Also, Woodard Events is working with Marriott to implement strong preventive measures for on-premise attendees, including: six-foot spacing between chairs in training rooms, distancing guidelines in common areas, 15-foot spacing between booths in the Exhibit Hall, facemasks provided for all attendees, and options for attendees to eat conference meals outside or in their guest rooms.
For those who are not able to travel to Orlando, the new remote attendee option, sponsored by Intuit QuickBooks, is an exciting new way to allow people to still participate and benefit from the conference. While QuickBooks will only be participating virtually, the company will be partnering closely with Woodard Events to ensure no one misses out on any of the great content from the show. Remote attendees can participate in breakouts, view keynote presentations, explore the Exhibit Hall and interact with instructors, sponsors, and fellow attendees.
