RouteInside is fully integrated into the EventPilot scientific conference app and works independent from Wifi or GPS. Event attendees select their destination and starting point to see step-by-step routing and an estimated walking time in order to navigate to meeting rooms, registration, or exhibitor booths inside the venue. While RouteInside works completely offline with venue floor plans, it can be enhanced with ATIV's indoor positioning services. Indoor positioning uses iBeacon technology to automatically route from the user's current position. Combining indoor positioning with RouteInside offers the best interior navigation experience for meeting attendees.
Availability
RouteInside is available now for all upcoming EventPilot implementations. Indoor wayfinding is based on inside maps and floorplans of the meeting facilities.
