Organizations Can Align Diversity Business Goals with SCORE's Small Business Programs
WASHINGTON, May 30, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The SCORE Foundation, the philanthropic arm of SCORE, the nation's largest network of volunteer, expert business mentors, today announced that new sponsorship opportunities are available which align organizational diversity priorities with SCORE programs and training that directly assist small business owners in underserved communities. Such sponsorship opportunities support SCORE For All initiatives that focus on Women, Black, Hispanic and Asian American founders, among others. May is nationally recognized as Asian-American Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
Underwriting support through sponsorships for one of these communities enables SCORE to expand the specific training and resources available to help these founders overcome the unique business challenges they face or to access tools that guide their business decisions and practices. Each underserved community has a unique content 'hub' on score.org which provides a curated collection of business tips, strategies, templates and success stories across a variety of subjects – from accounting to video marketing and more.
Corporate sponsors are recognized as such on the materials and training programs they support and receive reports on the small business owner impact and engagement.
During May, sponsorship funding from Global Atlantic Financial Group, a leading insurance company, supported the creation of a series of 'how to' e-guides for Asian-American entrepreneurs with the steps and advice for starting different types of businesses.
