Seaside Florida Vacation Rental Company Welcomes Tourists With Some Restrictions
Homeowner's Collection Vacation Rentals, which offers beachfront rentals of private residences, is taking reservations and welcoming guests in Seaside, Florida, after the state's governor lifted the short-term rental ban. The company has also implemented several new disinfecting protocols to further protect guests.
SEASIDE, Fla., May 21, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Homeowner's Collection Vacation Rentals, one of Seaside's largest vacation rental companies, is welcoming guests and taking new reservations as of May 20, 2020. Homeowner's Collection has a flexible cancellation policy, as well as new disinfecting protocols to better protect guests' health and safety.
Per the governor's executive orders, travelers from the hot spots of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Louisiana must have reservations greater than 15 days, as they must quarantine the first 14 days of their reservation. This is mandatory through July 2, 2020. After July 2, short-term rentals are allowed for residents from these states. Currently, travelers from other states may make a reservation of any length.
Starting May 29, 2020, an open-air concept for stores and restaurants begins called Season Al Fresco for Seaside's Commercial District. The same day Seaside Commercial Beach access points and the Seaside Swim & Tennis will reopen. Many restaurants, listed on the Homeowner's Collection website, are open for takeout only.
Season residential beaches, which are accessed by the residential pavilions and are available for use by any Homeowner's Collection Vacation Rental guests, are open. However, social distancing guidelines are in effect. Visitors must limit groups to 10 people or less, and remain six feet from individuals not in their household.
Vacation rentals continue to be the safest alternative in travel lodging, as guests do not have to co-mingle with other guests in crowded public spaces. Homeowner's Collection has implemented new cleaning procedures, including a check-in time of 9 a.m. and checkout time of 5 p.m. to allow time for a deeper cleaning. All employees wear masks and gloves to limit the spread of germs.
Additionally, Homeowner's Collection has implemented a no-contact check-in process to protect guests and a full linen clean on every exit from a cottage (all sheets, towels, quilts, blankets and pillow shams are laundered upon every check out). A 32-item high-contact point list is being adhered to for disinfecting, and all soft goods are being sprayed with a Microban 24 multipurpose disinfectant.
