With more than 25 years in telecom, Kiely has seen the industry transform through the years. After building nationwide dial-up network GobalPOPs, Kiely was one of the three original engineers at VoIP Innovations before being named their President. After Sangoma acquired VoIP Innovations, he served as EVP of Network Engineering, EVP of Global Support and SVP of Carrier Voice.
Kiely has built his telecommunications career on being well-rounded and constantly learning. "If I had to name two strengths, it would be building great teams and designing networks that are redundant and resilient. I've always believed in keeping things simple, redundant and resilient."
As a veteran in the telecom industry, Kiely has witnessed the evolution of the business of voice. "When I got into telecom it was the Wild West. That world is gone.
