Securiport Names Nathan Carpenter as Chief Software Architect to IT Division
Washington, DC (PRWEB) June 20, 2016 -- Securiport LLC, the leading provider of border security, immigration control and related risk management solutions, has named Nathan Carpenter as Chief Software Architect in its IT Division to lead all software development. Mr. Carpenter will be responsible for developing new and innovative approaches that will serve as the basis for the company’s next generation of profiling technology. He will also manage and coordinate the delivery of new releases of Securiport’s solutions. Mr. Carpenter will be instrumental in driving project/program initiatives that deliver on the company’s vision for intelligent border control management and will work on the creation of new systems for profiling, behavioral analysis, and predictive analytics as well as the integration of hardware and software enhancements to Securiport’s existing Integrated Immigration Control System and Intelligent Information Management System.

In Mr. Carpenter’s 23-year career, he has performed at all levels of systems development, from hands-on coding to cutting-edge research, providing not only team leadership but also setting organizational technical strategy. His focus has been on developing leading-edge software solutions for communities of multidisciplinary analysts. He earned a BS degree in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, and holds an MS degree in Software Engineering from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner, and Amazon AWS Solutions Architect – Associate.
