These achievements reflect Selligent’s long-standing commitment to data security and protection.
SOC 2 is an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Successful completion of the SOC 2 Type 2 examination is recognized for demonstrating an organization’s commitment to selected AICPA Trust Services Criteria. For Selligent’s examination, they were audited against AICPA Trust Services Criteria for Security, Availability, Confidentiality, and Privacy. The SOC 2 Type 2 examination provided assurance regarding the effectiveness of the company’s controls over a period of time.
The HIPAA Security Compliance Assessment examined the sufficiency of Selligent’s data security controls against the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”). This effort provides additional assurance regarding the organization’s handling of protected health information (PHI).
