Todd Morgan, DMD, and Rose Nierman, RDH, Team-Up to Offer Hands-On Dental Sleep Medicine Seminars
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) October 13, 2014 -- As dentists continue to get involved in the management and treatment of obstructive sleep apnea in patients, the need for next-level education to increase their skills and efficacy of treatment has risen.
That is why Nierman Practice Management is offering a series of advanced courses tailored to the practice that already has experience treating obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliance therapy. By discussing the latest research in dental sleep medicine, engaging in detailed hands-on sessions, and reviewing complex cases, the seminar is designed to help the practice overcome hurdles, increase production, and become more efficient. The first advanced course launches on November 14th-15th in San Diego, CA.
Dental sleep medicine educators for over 25 years, Dr. Morgan and Rose Nierman have incorporated unique teaching tools into their advanced dental sleep medicine course to ensure dentists and their staff gain the skills needed to manage challenges that practices may experience when treating obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Team members will participate in sessions led by Ms. Nierman on successful medical billing protocols and will go in-depth on how to establish a more efficient system for obtaining medical reimbursement. Ms. Nierman states that an educated and coordinated team is the key to success for growing a dental sleep medicine practice.
“Join me and our excellent team for an indispensable learning experience. During this course we will advance clinical skills, and improve understanding of the dental sleep medicine patient from the new patient interview to completion of care.” says Dr. Morgan. “There are lots of hands-on sessions and so many pearls you could make a necklace! Important time will also be spent on case studies, improving assessment of patient progress and improving outcomes. I look forward to bringing the attendees skills up to the next level!”
