Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) March 25, 2015 -- Senior Helpers®, one of the largest in-home senior care franchisors in the U.S., announced today that Mari Baxter, Senior Helpers Vice President of Operations, was recognized as a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) by the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives. The CFE designation is a mark of distinction awarded by the International Franchise Association (IFA), which indicates the individual has met or exceeded the Institute’s rigorous educational requirements and demonstrated expertise in topics as diverse as franchise business management, financing, franchise law and other areas important to running and growing a franchise network.
“We are thrilled to have Mari be certified by the IFA’s Institute of Certified Franchise Executives,” said Senior Helpers President Craig Leonard. “She is instrumental in how we run our franchise network, and she is particularly important when we bring on new franchise owners and help them get started. This was an important certification for her, for Senior Helpers and our franchise owners.”
Nearly 1,800 franchise executives are currently enrolled in or have received certification. The designation can take up to two years to complete, and more than 300 IFA member companies currently have one or more executives enrolled in the program. The program helps key franchisor executives receive specialized knowledge in to key areas of growing and running a franchise network, as well as win industry recognition and professional standing.
The IFA recently held their 55th Annual Convention in Las Vegas this past month where 161 franchise executives and professionals achieved a Certified Franchise Executive™ (CFE) designation. This is the largest ever class of CFE graduates.
