Seattle, WA (PRWEB) April 30, 2014 -- SeniorHomes.com, a leading, nationwide directory of senior housing and senior care options, is thrilled to announce the finalists in the first phase of the 2014 Best Senior Living Awards, a program designed to recognize the best senior living blogs, websites and newsletters.
Finalists were determined based on popular vote as of April 28, 2014. Nominees earning a spot in the finalist round will be judged by a panel of leading senior living experts, based on a set of category-specific, standardized rating criteria. Expert judges also have the opportunity to add comments and offer suggestions, providing valuable feedback for finalists.

Public voting will continue for all nominees, including those that have not moved on to the finals, in order to determine the People’s Choice winners, determined based on popular vote as of May 12, 2014.
The 2014 SeniorHomes.com Best Senior Living Awards Expert Judge Panel includes 21 leading senior living professionals, caregiver advocates, award-winning authors and senior living marketing professionals. Twelve judges have served in past years, a few for four consecutive years.
