Sente Presents its Second Cohort of Mobility Startups
Sente Foundry, together with its partners New Mobility Lab, Autonomy and Hatcher+, kicks off its 2018 program for promising Mobility startups from 9 different countries.
PARIS, Oct. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Today, Chicago-based Sente Foundry, LLC (Sente), a startup accelerator and innovation scouting platform, announces the participants of the first phase of its 2018-2019 New Mobility Program.
These startups will begin the program in Paris, France with an intense series of workshops to help them build a business model that can scale globally. They will then be showcased at Autonomy in Paris, where the "world's mobility makers meet."
Participating startups include:
- Dox (Beirut, Lebanon) – Predictive analytics for batteries
- Navigato (Sofia, Bulgaria) – A decentralized marketplace and SaaS platform for electric vehicle charging
- Moja Ride (Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire) – A mobility-as-a-service (MaaS) and payment platform for emerging markets
- Pepbus (Ankara, Turkey) – A shared mobility platform for employers and their workers
- Tensegrity (Paris, France) – Intelligent vehicle monitoring
- Drive Buddy (Ankara, Turkey) – Driver monitoring and accident detection
- NiveauUp (Taipei, Taiwan) – eXtreme Fast Charging for batteries
- Powerplace (Berlin, Germany) – Improving urban mobility with data
- ChargeSplit (Milan, Italy) - P2P sharing of charging stations
- (Stealth) (Amsterdam, Netherlands) – Password-free multi-factor authentication for the new mobility world

After a hands-on, structured 6-week program that concludes in London on November 22, the top 5 startups will then be selected to spend a month in the US in January. This will include opportunities to gain exposure and customer traction at events such as the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas as well as a "soft landing" at Chicago's innovation hub, 1871 and the Connectory.
