BETHESDA, Md., Oct. 16, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Sentrillion Corporation (Sentrillion) sadly announced that Richard (Rick) Kay, its majority owner and Chairman of the Board, died unexpectedly and peacefully on October 10, 2020, at his home in Bethesda, Maryland.
"With Rick's passing, Sentrillion has lost a great leader, friend, and entrepreneur. We will miss his passion for his work. His personal touch, amazing stories, and charisma will always inspire and stay with us for years to come," Sentrillion Vice President, Brannon Donlon, expressed during remembrance.
Rick was a graduate of the Class of 1976 of Kennedy High School in Silver Spring, MD, and earned a business degree from the University of Maryland. An avid and life-long DC sports fan, Rick was a regular fixture at Washington Football, Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards, and Washington Mystics games. Rick would eventually join the Monumental Sports and Entertainment ownership group, which owns the Wizards, Capitals, Mystics, and Capital One Arena.
Sentrillion will move forward and honor Rick's legacy by continuing the mission and work that he loved so much.
