Sessions Pale Ale Unveiled as Official Beer of Mile of Music Festival
A popular festival in Wisconsin, Mile of Music, presented by Fox Communities Credit Union, will return August 1 with Sessions Pale Ale from Stone Arch Brew House announced as the Official Beer of Mile 7. The Mile and Stone Arch teams also collaborated to brew up a special limited release brew for the original music festival.
APPLETON, Wis., July 17, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Mile of Music, presented by Fox Communities Credit Union, will return to Northeast Wisconsin in just a few weeks and festival organizers have announced that Sessions Pale Ale will serve as the Official Beer of Mile 7.
The beer is brewed by Stone Arch Brew House/Brewpub of Appleton, a long-time sponsor and supporter of the festival since it first began in 2013. It's a light, refreshing brew with a citrus flavor and aroma that will pair well with the summer music vibe coming to Downtown Appleton in early August when 220 original artists perform 950 live music sets.
Sessions Pale Ale takes over the spot of Stone Arch's Americana Pale Ale which served as the Official Beer of Mile of Music in years past. Sessions will be available for purchase on tap and in bottles at several venues throughout the popular four-day festival.
"We chose Sessions as the beer for Mile 7 after polling several guests and finding that it was the preferred Pale Ale for the festival," explained Steve Lonsway, president of Stone Arch. "Instead of balancing two Pale Ales during our busiest season, we're sticking with the more popular Sessions for Mile 7. It's a wonderful brew with great hop presence and a refreshing note that pairs well with the music that will be playing all weekend."
As part of the Official Beer announcement, Mile of Music and Stone Arch also collaborated to brew up a limited release batch of Double IPA which is a spin on the popular Sessions Pale Ale recipe. There were just 999 bottles brewed, each one hand-labeled and hand-numbered. These collectible edition 750 ml bottles come with a keepsake guitar pick keychain printed with the Mile of Music logo.
Stone Arch will be hosting a pre-Mile Special Release Party on July 21 where pre-reserved bottles can first be picked up and attendees can enjoy an afternoon of live music from Mile of Music alumni artists.
With tens of thousands of visitors expected throughout the weekend, Mile of Music runs August 1-4 and Stone Arch will be among the 60 official venues hosting music.
