Seton Hall University Hosts Virtual Graduate Open House on February 20
Seton Hall University will host its annual Graduate Open House on Saturday, February 20, 2021 as a virtual event. Attendees can explore the full range of graduate programs and opportunities at the University, participate in virtual tours of the campuses and interact with expert faculty.
SOUTH ORANGE, N.J., Jan. 25, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Seton Hall University will host its annual Graduate Open House as a virtual event on Saturday, February 20 at noon. Attendees will learn more about Seton Hall's graduate and certificate programs in the high-demand fields of business, communication, diplomacy and international relations, education, health and medical sciences, law, nursing, science and theology.
The schedule includes:
- 12 p.m. - Welcome from the Provost, Katia Passerini, Ph.D.
- 12:15 p.m. - Academic Sessions (50 minutes each)
- 1:15 p.m. - Academic Sessions (50 minutes each)
- 2:15 p.m. - Graduate Support Services Sessions (30 minutes each)
- 2:50 p.m. - Graduate Support Services Sessions (30 minutes each)
During the Graduate Open House, participants can take virtual tours of Seton Hall's beautiful South Orange campus, state-of-the-art Interprofessional Health Sciences (IHS) campus in Nutley, NJ and School of Law in Newark, NJ. Attendees can also join librarians from the main campus and the IHS to learn about library services, resources and graduate student spaces.
Breakout sessions hosted by the College of Arts and Sciences, Stillman School of Business, College of Communication and the Arts, College of Nursing, School of Theology, College of Education and Human Services, School of Health and Medical Sciences, School of Law and School of Diplomacy and International Relations will allow attendees to hear about career opportunities and ask questions regarding admission requirements and curriculum. Plus, current students and alumni will offer a first-hand perspective about their own experiences as graduate students and relay how their time at Seton Hall informed and aided their professional and personal growth.
In addition, the virtual event gives participants insights on how to plan a graduate education. A breakout session hosted by the Office of Financial Aid will provide information about various aid opportunities and financing options. Student Services will be on hand to showcase the many opportunities graduate students have to become engaged on all of our campuses. The Career Center will host a session discussing their resources for assisting with professional networking, resume building and interviewing as well as their career development workshops. Representatives from the Office of International Programs and Continuing Education and Professional Studies will also be present to answer questions about their respective programs.

Seton Hall offers graduate, certificate and continuing education courses on a full-or part-time basis. Programs are designed for working professionals with night and weekend options and are available online, on-campus or in a hybrid format.
An application fee waiver will be issued to those who attend the Graduate Open House and then subsequently apply to a graduate program.
