Sezzle to Participate in the TRANSACT Payments Pitch-Off
NEW YORK (PRWEB) April 04, 2018 -- The Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) announced that Sezzle will compete in the Payments Pitch-Off, sponsored by Vantiv, now Worldpay, at TRANSACT on April 18 in Las Vegas. Sezzle was chosen from a highly-competitive group of payments technology startups by a committee of payments and fintech industry leaders. They will pitch their solution before a panel of venture capitalists and payments executives. The judges will award one overall winner with a $30,000 cash prize, sponsored by Vantiv, now Worldpay, and the audience favorite will receive a $5,000 cash prize, sponsored by Loeb & Loeb, LLP.

Matt Ozvat, Head of Developer Integrations at Vantiv now Worldpay, will moderate the Payments Pitch-off and Stephen A. Aschettino of Loeb & Loeb will participate as a judge. Other judges include Venture Capitalists from some of the most recognizable companies in fintech and payments: Alex Acree of Fenway Summer; Sean Banks of TTV; Tom Brown of Camp One Ventures; Ryan Gilbert of Propel Ventures; Ben Malka of F-Prime Capital; Matt Risley of QED Investors; Dan Rosen of Commerce Ventures; David Sica of Nyca Partners.
