“SGF’s donor egg program provides patients with a highly effective treatment option to overcome infertility, with a greater than 60 percent clinical pregnancy rate per embryo transfer.”

Shady Grove Fertility (SGF) proudly joins the fourth annual Canadian Fertility Show as a Gold Sponsor on February 6, 2021, where reproductive endocrinologist and SGF Canada Program Director, Joseph Doyle, M.D. will present on the benefits of seeking donor egg treatment in America. The annual event is following a virtual format this year, offering the opportunity to reach more Canadians and support them on their journey to parenthood.

The virtual fertility show will feature lectures from medical doctors, naturopathic doctors, practitioners, lawyers, and more about a variety of topics related to family planning, fertility, donor egg treatment, adoption, and much more. By moving to a virtual format, attendees have unlimited access to recorded lectures and virtual booth visits for 30 days following the event, including SGF’s booth where attendees can learn about the advantages of traveling to the United States for donor egg treatment. Early bird admission is available until January 18, 2021, at CA$10.

“The Canadian Fertility Show is a wonderful opportunity for SGF to connect with its neighbors up north who may face obstacles conceiving,” shares Dr. Doyle. “SGF’s donor egg program provides patients with a highly effective treatment option to overcome infertility, with a greater than 60 percent clinical pregnancy rate per embryo transfer.”

SGF Offers International Donor Egg Program for Canadian Patients

SGF is one of only a few centers in the United States that recruits, selects, and prescreens (medically, psychologically, and genetically) its own ready-to-cycle egg donors prior to making them available on their de-identified donor registry. Further, SGF offers an exclusive 100% refund guarantee program for donor egg treatment—a significant differentiator among other programs.

“As Canadians, we do not have the same access to donor services as the United States,” shares Cindy, an SGF patient who traveled from Toronto for donor egg treatment. “Our options were to use eggs from someone we knew, travel abroad to another country where we often know very little about your donor, or select a donor from a frozen egg bank. We knew that we wanted to use a de-identified donor and liked SGF’s donor program…We were so impressed and felt that we were in the best possible hands.”

SGF’s International Donor Egg Program for Canadian patients offers concierge-level care, unparalleled support, and an esteemed medical team. The practice has had 5,000 babies born and counting through this program. As part of SGF’s International Donor Egg Program, patients work locally with select Canadian fertility centers, while gaining access to SGF’s ready to cycle donors through their donor registry. Only two visits to the U.S. are needed.

SGF offers Canadians and all international patients multiple ways to access SGF egg donors:

  • Traditional, Non-shared, Egg Donors: All eggs the donor produces for that donation cycle will be assigned exclusively to one patient.
  • Shared Egg Donors: The egg donor will divide her eggs between either 2 or 3 recipients who will then split the financial responsibility.
  • Frozen Egg Bank Donors: These donors have already completed their donation and their resulting eggs were frozen and placed on the database.
