Shank Shanmugabaskaran appointed CIO at The RDI Group
Itasca, IL (PRWEB) September 24, 2015 -- Over the past five years, from Manager to most recently Vice President of Information Technology and Business Process, Mr. Shanmugabaskaran has upgraded RDI’s IT environment, executed the deployment of Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP and streamlined processes with workflow management tool BPMContext to help deliver the company mission of “Building Great Machines”. In his new position, Mr. Shanmugabaskaran will also lead the company’s marketing effort designed to support revenue growth, and execute a global strategy connecting equipment, consumable parts, preventative maintenance and service with customers. “There are various platforms and technologies that we will leverage. Integration of The Internet of Things, the ability for our customer to predict consumable part wear and failure; and helping our customers identify promising investments they can make to meet their manufacturing goals. Our products and services continue to change as our customer’s needs change, and we will communicate our solutions for each of our product lines,” Shanmugabaskaran has stated.

Prior to joining The RDI Group, Mr. Shanmugabaskaran was Manager of Information Technology for GeoAnalytics, where he led the successful deployments of cloud based spatial data analysis, predicative analytics, and business intelligence platforms. Mr. Shanmugabaskaran has also served as IT Manager for the Medical School Computer Labs at the University of Wisconsin- Madison, providing support for students and faculty users in the Medical School.
Mr. Shanmugabaskaran’s educational background includes a BS in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and he is also a Certified Scrum Master and Six Sigma Green Belt.
