SharePoint Solutions Will Hold SharePoint 2013 Classes Beginning Sept. 17 in Washington, DC
Nashville, Tenn. (PRWEB) August 30, 2013 -- SharePoint Solutions’ “Using SharePoint 2013 or Office 365 SharePoint” part one and part 2 courses will be held in the Washington, DC area starting Sept 17.
The two-day “Using SharePoint 2013 or Office 365 SharePoint – Part 1” course, which will take place Sept. 17-18, is a jump-start introduction for business professionals who have not previously used SharePoint. This stand-alone course provides students who are just interested in the basics with an experiential overview of SharePoint 2013’s main features, as well as its most commonly used ones.
“Using SharePoint 2013 or Office 365 SharePoint – Parts 1 and 2” gives students a complete hands-on introduction to SharePoint 2013’s many features, capabilities, business uses and benefits. This “101-level” course, which runs Sept. 17-20, includes hands-on lab exercises and imparts a solid foundation for using SharePoint 2013 or Office 365 SharePoint effectively.
The concepts and features taught in this four-day course are all applicable to SharePoint Server 2013 and the SharePoint Online included in Office 365. Although this class doesn’t utilize any of the features that are exclusive to the Enterprise edition of SharePoint 2013, everything that is covered is applicable to both the Standard and Enterprise editions.
“Whether you’re a business professional seeking a practical, hands-on beginning course about SharePoint or an IT professional needing to learn about SharePoint 2013 from the end user side, these classes will help you get the most out of SharePoint 2013,” said instructor Ricky Spears, author of both courses.
Students should be comfortable using Windows in their everyday work. The course assumes that the student has no prior experience with SharePoint 2013 or any previous version of SharePoint. The typical environments that professionals work in can vary greatly from very small organizations with just a few employees to very large organizations with thousands of employees and multiple locations.
In each course, they will receive a comprehensive manual with a condensed version of lecture content, PowerPoint slides and hands-on lab exercises that walk them through the SharePoint experience.
Both classes will be held at SharePoint Solutions’ Washington, DC-area location, the Ballston Office Center in Arlington, VA. Students can also attend them live online.
“The online class worked perfectly... Go to Meeting software and server connections were awesome,” commented one international student who recently attended a course live online.
