Shawn Holsinger Joins LRS Federal as Operations Manager
Pasadena, MD (PRWEB) August 20, 2015 -- LRS Federal, a Maryland-based engineering and construction company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Shawn Holsinger as LRS Federal’s Operations Manager. In this leadership position, Shawn will lead the nationwide implementation of our environmental and infrastructure contracts. LRS Federal provides support to the United States Air Force, United States Army, Defense Logistics Agency, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Energy, Veterans Administration and US Army Corps of Engineers.
Mr. Holsinger, a registered Professional Engineer with a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, worked for the federal government for 19 years before returning to the private sector in 2006. He is recognized as one of the principal architects of performance-based remediation contracting in the Department of Defense. His experience in implementation of environmental remediation programs for both the Army and Air Force brings a unique perspective to methodologies for reducing costs to achieve site closure, while simultaneously reducing schedule timelines. His efforts have resulted in official commendations from both services for documented cost and schedule savings to the Department of Defense’s Environmental Restoration Program. During the past nine years, Shawn supported a wide variety of consulting and engineering projects for the federal government while working for both small and large federal contractors.
