Shea Concrete Products Co-Hosts 1st "Annual Engineers Day Conference" with ASCE-NH
On November 13th, 2018, the "Annual Engineers Day Conference" made its debut in Concord, NH with two high-level goals: bringing NH and surrounding state Civil Engineers together, as well as raising money for the ASCE-NH Scholarship Fund.
CONCORD, N.H., Jan. 8, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- With a great showing of attendees and support from event sponsors, exhibitors, and presenters over $10,500 was raised and will be utilized during ASCE-NH's 2019 Annual Scholarship Awards initiative.
Shea Concrete Products worked closely with ASCE-NH leadership to bring together an agenda that brought value to attendees and focus on relevant topics including leadership, effective communication, and team building which can often be overlooked in a field dominated by technical expertise, calculations, and construction drawings. Developing this event and offering it to the Civil Engineering community in NH and surrounding states was a team effort and good example of what can be accomplished in a relatively short period of time.
