Sheldon Wines Finds A Home With Inspiration
SANTA ROSA, CA (PRWEB) February 22, 2016 -- This spring Sheldon Wines (http://www.sheldonwines.com) will be moving their production from 1301 Cleveland Avenue to the (http://www.inspirationvineyards.com) Inspiration Vineyards and Winery facility at 3360 Coffey Lane in the Pinecreek Business Park. The transition is scheduled to begin at the end of March, following farewell celebrations in the Sheldon Sippy Lounge. Both parties are “...really excited to be joining forces” and about the opportunities that working together will bring. In addition to the alliance, Dylan Sheldon will be accepting the position of Production Manager at Inspiration, assisting Jon Phillips with winemaking and managing all of the custom crush clients.
Dylan has over 20 years of experience in all aspects of the wine business from Sommelier and Wine-buyer, to Winemaking and Viticulture Consultant, as well as Owner/Winemaker of Sheldon Wines. After working alongside winemakers in Monterey, Australia, New Zealand and France, Dylan Sheldon and his wife Tobe founded Sheldon winery in 2003. Dylan looks forward to “...fostering a healthy and creative atmosphere that fuels continued education. Inspiration is a premier venue for launching brands and promoting the next wave of micro-wineries.” Dylan thrives on "...orchestrating symbiotic relationships in a controlled chaotic environment."
Jon Phillips founded Inspiration with his wife Barbara in 2002 after purchasing 6 acres of vineyard property off of Olivet Road. Jon has been instrumental in marketing and promoting awareness for the Olivet Road Wine Trail and fellow Santa Rosa wineries. His expertise and enthusiasm for winemaking, brand development, and winery operations extends to nurturing new labels. Jon Phillips looks forward to taking the facility to the next level, “I believe that it will be a mutually beneficial relationship where we can collaborate and work together and help each other out. I need someone experienced to assist me with production work and Sheldon Wines needs a facility to call home.”
