The Sherwood Valley Band of Pomo Indians announced today that with great anticipation Sherwood Valley Casino re-opened to the public at 12 p.m. (Noon) on Friday, June 26th, 2020.

The Sherwood Valley Band of Pomo Indians announced today that with great anticipation Sherwood Valley Casino re-opened to the public at 12 p.m. (Noon) on Friday, June 26th, 2020.
According to Michael J. Broderick, General Manager of the small, Northern California Casino; "We have made some important changes as part of our enhanced health and safety plan. After we announced our originally planned reopening for the 17th of June, we realized that we had a lot more to do in order to be 100% confident that our valued customers and dedicated Team Members would be safe, so we decided to push the date back 12 more days. I can finally say we are ready, and from the wonderful feedback we have been getting from our loyal customers, they are too!" he remarked.
According to the casino management team, things looked and were a little different at the casino for a while and it was limited in some of the services, number of people allowed in the facility, and the number of games available. In addition, there were several steps that guests and Team Members had to do before entering the casino or administrative offices, and these steps were clearly advertised and explained before the re-opening and at the door. The phased reopening and health and safety protocols followed the guidance of public health professionals, industry experts, the casino management team, and their Tribal Council.
