Shift.ms Launches "Hidden" Campaign to Raise Awareness of Invisible Symptoms

LEEDS, United Kingdom, Aug. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Shift.ms, a leading UK based MS Charity, have recently launched their "Hidden" short film. The movie highlights the hidden symptoms of multiple sclerosis in an effort to bring broader awareness to the invisible elements of the illness.

Each and everyday, MSers battle with hidden symptoms. Influenced by conversations on the Shift.ms forum and input from Cathy John, who worked on Shift's previous award winning short film Gallop, the script producer and MSer, the story focuses on the struggle MSers face and help people to understand invisible symptoms.

Shift.ms was created in 2009 by George Pepper and Freddie Yauner, following George's diagnosis with MS at the age of 22. MS is the most commonly diagnosed neurological condition in people in their 20s and 30s in the UK. Despite this, George found it difficult to find other MSers of his age, even online. This frustration led him to set up a website, where MSers could meet and share experiences. This later became Shift MS.
